School Administrative Officer
The suitable candidate must be proficient and fluent in English and show:
- A willingness to grow with the school following the Rudolf Steiner methodology
- A deep interest in children and their development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with teachers and parents
- The candidate must be a team-player who is also a self-starter
- Enjoy a collaborative working environment
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform office functions to support the school
- Prepare and maintain a variety of standard office records, compiles and prepares summaries and reports
- Manage school supplies and receive deliveries to the school
- Register and process student registrations and data enter student records
- Act as receptionist to greet visitors, check emails and mails, answer phone calls, direct visitors and maintains a message service for school staff, students and others
- Provide information and assistance to the public and other staff regarding policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
- Provide support to school events and activities
- Perform other work within the job band as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
- Completion of post-secondary education (degree, diploma, certificate required)
- a minimum of three (3) years of office administrative experience, preferably in an educational institution
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good command of both written & spoken in English and Chinese
